Implementation Project Manager

The primary responsibility of the Implementation Project Manager (IPM) is to lead a successful software implementation, overseeing the installation process of iDocket software for new customers. The IPM will ensure that all timelines throughout the data conversion, deployments, and implementation periods are met. The IPM will prioritize project tasks, maintain project plans, oversee the Implementation Team, and communicate the ongoing status of the implementation to clients, project sponsors, and senior management. Ensuring the project is implemented within contractual obligations and regulatory requirements is a key responsibility.

As part of preparing for each implementation, the IPM will collaborate with iDocket’s Technical Writers. The IPM will review administrative documentation for the customer and ensure that it is modified as needed to meet contractual requirements for each customer installation.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. IT, Computer Science, Project Management, etc.)
  • Relevant Project Management Institute (PMI) certification, such as the CAPM certification or the Project Management Ready certification.
  • Experienced in project management.
  • Experienced in leading a team.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, as the majority of your time will be spent coordinating tasks, directing resources, and staying aware of all aspects of the project.
  • Excellent communication skills, as you must be able to convey project status in lay terms, in addition to communicating goals and tasks with project team members.
  • Able to problem-solve, as you are responsible for detecting potential issues and implementing solutions when issues threaten to delay the timeline or impact budget or business operations.
  • Strong writing skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Advanced Project Management Institute (PMI) certification, such as the Project Management Professional certification or the PMI Scheduling Professional certification.
