Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Automation)
This is a remote-work position for a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) engineer who has extensive experience working in SaaS Environment using Cypress. You will be responsible for overseeing the automation process, which includes writing automation tests, teaching junior QA engineers the best practices of automation testing, and delegating tasks to team members. You will be expected to document each step of the process and must be able to communicate the system’s issues and bugs in a professional manner to both the development team and to the project management team.
Minimum Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or related
- 5+ years of experience with QA automated testing.
- 2-3 years of experience implementing automation testing framework for Cypress using XRAY in JIRA.
- 2-3 years of experience working in a SaaS environment.
- Able to design and setup Test Automation framework from scratch, including writing test automation scripts.
- Able to access requirements and provide a solution for automation on a project level.
- Able to investigate problems in software identified as a result of testing.
- Able to build an automation suite for regression testing purposes.
- Able to generate reports and results for all the tests created.
- Able to estimate the efforts required for the work to be undertaken for sprint planning purposes.
- Strong collaborative and communicative skills in order to work smoothly with each team on the automation needs and formulate a strategy for creating the automation suite.
- Able to document the process and the framework chosen and implemented for automation.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with AWS.
- Experience with coordinating and managing large teams.
- Experience with training other people and documentation for the processes.
